The Intermediate Class started learning Zhong Wen book six in term three 2009. Lesson one was an article about a park and the author has described the park elegantly. After we learned this lesson, the students were asked to use as many descriptive words as possible to write an essay entitled “The garden in the red evening dusk”. Here is one of the articles:

Junior Class 2 students have watched the movie “Three Buddhist Monks” and were asked to rewrite the story in Chinese. They did a very good job in this writing exercise so let's share two of the good articles here: —

Teacher's comment (Mrs Lan): The senior Mandarin class has recently been given a task on writing a legend story using their own imagination. They are required to structure the story logically, plot an interesting story line and use descriptive words.
